On August 25th a group of girls from Emmerich Manual High School came out to volunteer at Southside Animal Shelter. We all worked hard to get our new intake area cleaned up and ready. We also had a lot of fun getting to know each other and a little bit about shelter life for our pets. Everyone at SSAS would like to thank the girls and their mentor's for giving up their Saturday to come and work with us. Your hard work was appreciated and we hope you will come and visit us again in the future.
