Covid-19 has meant a new way of thinking for many. That is true for animal shelters, too. Without being able to hold in-person fundraising events, shelters have had to get creative. We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected by the Humane Society of Southern Arizona to participate in March Muttness-an online fundraising challenge pitting 64 shelters from around the country in a bracket-style tournament. Winning teams that raise the most money advance in the tournament but every shelter (win or lose) makes money from the donations they earn. You can begin cheering on and voting for Rosie’s Southside Animal Shelter beginning March 1 at 11am. So, get ready for this life-saving tournament where pets always win! Round one ends at 11pm on March 3.
